Activate a product

Every product and service is created as a draft, so you can finish setting it up first. Only an active product can be added to quotations, invoices, bills, and stock — activate it from its detail page when it’s ready.

Open the product.

From the catalogue, open the product. A new one shows a Draft status.

Set the status to Active.

Choose Edit, set the status to Active, and save. The product can now be used across the app. (A prescription product must have complete compliance fields before it will activate.)

The same Draft → Active step applies to a service, a stocked good, a composite kit, and a prescription product alike.
