Manage cost centres, branches & projects

Dimensions let you tag journal lines so you can analyse results by cost centre, branch, or project. They are all managed the same way.

Open Cost Centres.

From the General Ledger, choose Cost Centres (Branches and Projects work identically).

Enter a code and name, then create.

The code is a short identifier (letters, numbers, dashes); the name is the readable label.

Your dimension appears in the list.

You can rename it or deactivate it later from its row.

Once created, a dimension becomes selectable on journal lines under the line’s dimensions section.
