Reverse a goods receipt

Received the wrong delivery, or entered one by mistake? A confirmed goods receipt can be reversed — backing the stock out and posting a reversing journal. A receipt still in draft can simply be cancelled.

Before you start

Open the confirmed receipt.

From Goods receipts, open the one to undo. A confirmed receipt shows a Reverse action; a draft shows Cancel instead.

Reverse it and confirm.

Choose Reverse and confirm. mujez removes the received quantities from stock and posts a reversing journal; the receipt is marked Reversed and can’t be changed further.
