Inventory

Track and value your stock: set up valuation, manage warehouses, receive and issue stock, record goods receipts, and report on valuation and expiring batches.

Set up inventory

Add a warehouse

Receive stock

A receipt adds units of a tracked product into a warehouse at a unit cost — the simplest way to bring stock on hand.

Beginner3 steps~2 min

Issue stock

An issue takes units out of a warehouse. mujez previews the cost of goods sold from your stock layers before you confirm.

Beginner2 steps~2 min

Review stock movements

The stock movements ledger is the running record of every receipt and issue, per product and warehouse — your audit trail of what moved, when, and at what cost.

Beginner2 steps~2 min

Record a goods receipt

A goods receipt note (GRN) records a full delivery from a supplier — multiple lines, with freight and other landed costs allocated across them. Confirming it brings the stock on hand.

Intermediate3 steps~4 min

Reverse a goods receipt

Received the wrong delivery, or entered one by mistake? A confirmed goods receipt can be reversed — backing the stock out and posting a reversing journal. A receipt still in draft can simply be cancelled.

View stock valuation

The valuation report values your stock on hand at a point in time, by product and warehouse, and reconciles it to the inventory account in the ledger.

Intermediate2 steps~2 min

Track expiring stock

For batch- and expiry-tracked products, the expiring report lists the stock layers approaching their expiry date so you can act before they’re lost.
